What’s the difference between hosting and WordPress maintenance?
Hosting is the server infrastructure your site lives on — storage, uptime, and performance. Maintenance is the ongoing work that keeps your site healthy after launch: plugin updates, security scans, backups, and dev support. Most business owners need both. Hosting alone keeps your site online; maintenance keeps it working correctly and securely. See our WordPress maintenance plans for what that covers.
Which hosting plan is right for my business?
For most service businesses with a single site, the Economy plan handles it cleanly. If you’re running multiple sites or generating consistent lead traffic, the Business plan gives you more headroom. VPS is for high-traffic sites or businesses that need dedicated resources and more control. Not sure? Book a quick call and we’ll figure it out in five minutes.
Do you handle the setup and migration?
Yes. We configure everything — DNS, SSL, WordPress installation, and any migration from your current host. You don’t deal with nameservers, cPanel, or any of the backend setup. You just get a live, fast site on the new hosting.
Will switching hosting affect my Google rankings?
Done correctly, no. We handle the migration carefully to make sure nothing breaks — URLs, redirects, and content all carry over cleanly. In most cases, a move to faster hosting actually improves your Core Web Vitals scores, which can help rankings over time.
Is SSL included or do I need to buy it separately?
SSL is included on every plan. Your site will show the secure padlock in the browser from day one — no additional cost, no separate purchase required.
What happens if my site goes down?
GoDaddy’s infrastructure backs every plan with a 99.9% uptime guarantee. On the maintenance side, we also have uptime monitoring running — so if something does go down, we’re notified and on it before you are. If you want that coverage, pair hosting with one of our maintenance plans.
